Shaxon returns to Rebels after year in Italy
Essex Rebels are delighted to welcome back former club captain Ellie Shaxon.
Shaxon signed for the Rebels for the 2019/20 season where she helped guide the team to an improved 8th place finish before signing to play in Italy for the 2020/21 season, where she has helped her team to one of their best ever finishes and its first ever finals appearance along with a club promotion to the Italian first division. Shaxon also has experience of playing in the German Bundesliga. Prior to that Shaxon was a key player in the Essex side that won the WNBL Division 1 and National Cup.
