Essex Rebels Support Elavon’s Quest for Kids Financial Literacy
The Essex Rebels were out and about in London last night to help support a collaboration between Headline sponsor Elavon Europe and their financial charity FinLit. The event showcased the impact FinLit is having on the community whilst inspiring stakeholders across the board to support their mission of ensuring that every child is financially literate and empowered to take control of their future. The goal of the event was to communicate the importance of financial literacy in schools and Essex Rebels players Claire Paxton, Tia Freeman and Rory Winter were on hand to give presentations on their career journeys so far and the Rebels programme in a wider context. The Rebels also discussed the role that financial literacy has played in their lives and career decisions.
The second part of the Rebels session was a fun filled activity with the participants making shots into a hoop in Elavon’s head office conference suite!
