The Rebels Women’s Volleyball Team is back in action at the Essex Sport Centre, facing Cambridge ARU for their fourth game of the season. The Rebels, currently holding a 2-1 record, are coming off a solid win against Darkstar Derbyshire. Leading the Rebels’ offense is Julia Haynie, the most efficient scorer in the Women’s Super League, alongside Chelsea Simmons, who ranks second in the league for setting stats. Cambridge ARU enters the match in eighth place with a 1-3 record, following a recent loss to Team SideOut Polonia. Despite a challenging start to the season, Cambridge has been exceptional at blocking, led by league leaders Abby Huffman and Julianna Nowaczek. With the season still young, the Rebels are focused on securing another win to keep their momentum rolling.

Women’s SuperLeague: Essex Rebels vs. Lionhearts Vinarius
After Saturday’s match, the Rebels Women’s Volleyball Team will be back on home court for their big Blades Night doubleheader. This will be their first game of the season at the Essex Sport Arena, where they’ll face the Lionhearts Vinarius. The Lionhearts are close behind the Rebels in the standings, currently in fourth place with a 3-1 record, and are fresh off a victory over Leeds Gorse. Known for their defense, the Lionhearts lead the Women’s Super League in digging, with standout Maeve Davitt leading the league, and teammates Lyubomira Atanasova and Maria Sviridova ranked third and fourth. With both teams competing for third place and aiming to build momentum, this match promises to be a thrilling showdown.
Men’s SuperLeague: Essex Rebels vs. London Giants
The second game of the Blades Night doubleheader at the Essex Sport Arena will feature the Rebels Men’s Volleyball Team taking on the London Giants. This marks the men’s third game of the season and their home debut at the arena. Undefeated so far with a 2-0 record, the Rebels are coming off a decisive win against Richmond Docklands, having won both matches in three sets. Offensive powerhouse Daven Pascal leads the Men’s Super League in scoring efficiency, with Euan Fraser ranked fourth. Pascal also shines on defense, ranking second in blocking. Additionally, Rebels setters and receivers have been strong, with Cam Kern ranked third in setting and Lefteris Ioannou second in receiving stats. Their opponents, the Giants, lead the league with a 3-1 record and are coming off a win over Newcastle Knights.
