Mens Teams
Comprised of inspirational role models, our players are drawn from across the World, as well as young players from the Basketball England talent pathway.

Mens 1st team.
Having secured back-to-back promotions in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons, and finishing in the top half of the Basketball England National League Division 1 in 2020/21, the Essex Rebels are playing in their fourth year at this elite level.
Supported by one of the best university basketball programmes in the U.K. players combine representing the Essex Rebels with study at the University of Essex. Providing inspiration for young players within the Essex Rebels pathway, our men’s teams demonstrate how you can achieve your potential through hard work and dedication.

Mens 2nd team.
The Essex Rebels men’s second team play in National League Division 3, providing a development opportunity for young players making their early entry into senior competition. The squad is drawn from a mixture of players studying at the University of Essex, plus some players moving up from the junior side to gain exposure of senior competition.
