The Essex Rebels delivered a commanding performance in their NBL 1 matchup against the Bradford Dragons, treating the home crowd to a spectacular display of basketball prowess.
From the opening tip-off, the Rebels came out firing on all cylinders, setting the tone for the game. With good offensive execution, including a mix of outside shooting and aggressive drives to the basket, Essex quickly established a lead, leaving the Bradford defence scrambling to keep up. The pace of play set by the Rebels caught the Dragons off guard, allowing Essex to continue building an early lead and assert their authority.
Even as Bradford attempted to mount a comeback in the second quarter, the Rebels remained composed. With precise ball movement and sharpshooting accuracy, Essex stretched their lead even further, leaving the Dragons struggling to find an answer.
After the halftime break, Bradford found some rhythm offensively and made a determined push to get back into the game.
