Freeman switches to Essex

The Essex Rebels are excited to announce and welcome 5’11 guard Tia Freeman. 

The British guard recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University after two very successful seasons with the Nottingham Wildcats, helping guide them to 11-9 season averaging 8.3 pts and 3.4 assists. 

Tia has now chosen the University of Essex where she will continue her education studying for a Postgraduate Degree in Marketing and Brand Management while continuing her playing career with the Essex Rebels in the WBBL.

After representing Great Britain at both U16 and U20 level Tia now looks to cement her place in the Essex Rebels roster.
