Queen B

Queen B is the louder than life official mascot of the Essex Rebels.

Inspired by Queen Boudica, who lead the notorious uprising against the conquering forces of the Roman Empire in AD 60 in Colchester, and moulded around the long tradition of encouraging students to challenge convention here at the University of Essex, we think Queen B perfectly encapsulates the fighting warrior spirit of the Essex Rebels.

Home Game Hijinks
Queen B’s energy at home game games is infectious. There is never a dull moment with Queen B in the house and she is never hard to spot as she loves the spotlight! Here are just a few of the things she will get up to on game day:

• Welcoming Essex Rebels fans as they enter the awesome Essex Sport Arena to support their team.
• Climbing up and down the bleachers to grab fans for half time competitions.
• Available for selfies – but watch out as she loves to photo bomb!
• Dancing to all the funky music that is synonymous with our award winning home game entertainment programme.
• Hi fiving the Essex Rebels as they are introduced on court fired up and ready for another epic basketball battle.
