Rebels captain Kohlhaas returns for third season
The Essex Rebels are delighted to re-sign captain Andrea Kohlhaas for her third season in the WBBL.
Andrea came in to the programme two years ago after graduating from San Jose State University, playing in the NCAA Division 1, finishing her career there ranked 9th in the programme history for her 3 point percentage.
Her second season in the WBBL did not disappoint with her numbers and efficiency improving in all areas. Andrea averaged just under 15 points a game last season and established herself as one of the league’s best scorers, finishing 9th overall in 3’s made.
Combining with Essex Rebels teammate Ashleigh Munns, Kohlhaas and Munns became one of the league’s most exciting duo’s during last season, securing the team’s best ever league finish and securing.
Tom Sadler, Head Coach for the basketball programme at Essex Rebels said ‘It is great to have Andrea back signing for her 3rd season with the Essex Rebels. Andrea, as captain, brings a wealth of experience to the team as well as solid leadership and will look to lead the team building on the successes of last season’.
