The Essex Rebels’ Super League Basketball 24/25 fixtures are here!
British basketball is coming back to the Essex Sports Arena, as the fixtures for the inaugural Super League Basketball season have been announced this morning by the league.
Following a historic season for the Rebels, where the team reached their first-ever major final in top-flight British basketball, Coach Ashley Cookson’s side tip off the campaign at home on Saturday 5 October at 4pm, against local rivals and NBL side Ipswich Basketball to commence the Super League Basketball Trophy competition. The Rebels will then have the chance to go against the reigning EuroCup Women’s Champions the following week as we travel to take on the London Lions on October 12 to conclude the Trophy Group Stage action.
Looking ahead to the new season, Coach Cookson said:
‘We are excited to get the 24/25 season started. With a core group of returners and some fresh faces, we’re looking to build on the momentum from last season. Excited to get back in front of our Rebels fans!’
