We’re on the lookout for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our Gameday Entertainment Crew and a new mascot to bring Queen B to life.
Entertainment Team Positions x 5
As a member of our Gameday Entertainment Staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering our award-winning game day experience. From setting up the arena and managing equipment to engaging with fans through interactive entertainment, your work will be at the heart of the Essex Rebels mission to put sport at the centre of campus life. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic environment, love sports, and enjoy creating memorable moments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and takedown of game day equipment, including audio/visual systems and game day props.
- Operate equipment for entertainment delivery and support live broadcasts.
- Engage with fans through interactive activities and ensure a vibrant atmosphere during games.
- Collaborate with the gameday lead to deliver seamless and exciting events.

Mascot Role: Queen B
We’re searching for a vibrant and energetic individual to take on the role of Queen B, our beloved mascot inspired by the legendary Queen Boudicca. As Queen B, you’ll be the face of the Essex Rebels, bringing energy, joy, and excitement to every game and community event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform as Queen B during home basketball and volleyball games, engaging with fans through skits, dance routines, and in-stand activities.
- Represent the Essex Rebels at community events, school visits, and charity functions, creating memorable experiences for fans of all ages.
This role requires an outgoing personality, strong performance skills, and the stamina to bring Queen B to life for extended periods. If you have a background in performing arts, dance, or cheerleading, and love interacting with fans, we want to hear from you!
